Drivers Horrified by Horse

The RSPCA received a string of calls to investigate an apparent act of animal cruelty - only to discover the 'victim' was a plastic horse.

Shocked drivers called up to say they had spotted a horse with its legs tied to the corners of a flat-bed trailer and it's body partially strapped down being towed 100 miles from Birmingham to Cambridge.

The charity leaped into action but when Inspector Richard Lythgoe tracked down the trailer in question he laughed out loud - because the horse was made of plastic.

He said: "When I got to the house to look into it all I realised it was a life size plastic horse!"
